PRESS RELEASE from AtlasShrugs.com:

This is the last week to register for our historic symposium on the fight for freedom. We are near capacity. Email PamelaGeller@gmail.com and register for the AFDI/SIOA “Summer Night for Human Rights.”

Why is it that Muslim groups never speak out against the sharia and/or the jihad against non-Muslims across the world? Look at CAIR’s website, or that of ICNA, MSA, MSU ….. nothing addressing the slaughter across the world in the cause of Islam? It is their sanction.

Hamas-CAIR is brazen enough to hold “A Summer Night for Civil Rights” while they seek to impose the most radical and extreme ideology on the face of the earth. Defenders of freedom will be there, down the street at “A Summer Night for Human Rights.” The world’s leading former Muslim apostates, a veritable who’s who in the Muslim world (each one with several death fatwas on his or her head), will be speaking at our AFDI/SIOA event at the Marriott Manhattan Beach.

If it is too far for you to travel, we will be livestreaming it here. Bookmark it.

The confirmed list of speakers also includes some of the nation’s most prominent ex-Muslims:

Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer host:

Ibn Warraq
Walid Shoebat
Nonie Darwish
Alex Ibrahim
Wafa Sultan
Dr. Bushra Qader
Ramin Parsha — Iranian NajatTV host and associate pastor to Pastor Riza Safa
Amani Mustafa — Egyptian popular AlHayatTV host
Mohammed Asghar — originally from Bangladesh/ author and an authority on the Quran

Stand against sharia and the death penalty for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, sentenced to death in Iran for apostasy. June 23rd, Marriott Manhattan Beach from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Hamas-linked CAIR is selling tickets for its “Summer Night for Civil Rights” for as much as $100; admission to the AFDI/SIOA Summer Night for Human Rights is free. Register to attend by writing afdisioa@aol.com.

All the schools of Islamic law, without exception, mandate death for those who leave Islam. We’ve dedicated the Town Hall to Pastor Youcef because he is in imminent danger of being murdered for his beliefs, and we’ve invited numerous apostates from Islam to speak about the death sentence they must live under every moment because they have dared to leave Islam. We’re calling upon Hamas-tied CAIR to stand up for Pastor Youcef and other victims of Islam’s apostasy law at their so-called ‘Civil Rights’ conference so-called ‘Civil Rights’ conference and to stand for human rights for all. Under the guise of ‘civil rights,’ these subversive groups seek to undermine the unalienable rights guaranteed to every individual under the Constitution. Their ruse must be exposed, their Sharia agenda renounced. What Islamic supremacist groups in the U.S. speak for Pastor Youcef?

Last night, searching the web, I stumbled upon TheAmericanMuslim.org website and read a few articles by Sheila Musaji. Ms. Musaji has dedicated all her energy to malign the anti-Jihad activists such as Wafa Sultan, Aayan Hirsi Ali, Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, myself and others. It was my bed time, but I could not resist the temptation of sending her an email. I did not expect to hear from her. To my surprise, again going to her website to see who else she has targetted I found her responce me. No, she did not send me an email to let me know. Don’t ask me why! Only she can explain the wisdom of her ways. I found it by sheer accident.

Sina offered to send Musaji his book, “Understanding Muhammed,” to see if reading it would change her mind about Islam. Click here for the full text of his letter.

Ms. Musaji did not appreciate the offer in the least, and replied with a fresh round of invective. Read her post here.

Be sure to visit AliSina.org regularly to follow this continuing dialogue.

A man who claimed his wife had been abducted by Islamic extremists last night faced court charged with her killing.

Nasir Ahmadi, 46, is accused of murdering Zahara Rahimzadegan, a mother of two, at their High Street Rd, Ashwood, home on December 16.

A body believed to be that of Ms Rahimzadegan was found yesterday after homicide squad detectives searched the property and arrested Mr Ahmadi.

Det Sen-Sgt Ron Iddles of the homicide squad alleged Mr Ahmadi murdered his wife on December 16. He said the body was found when officers pulled apart a new timber deck at the property.

After digging through soil, they found a layer of concrete which, when broken up, revealed the remains.

Sen-Sgt Iddles said Mr Ahmadi had visited Glen Waverley police station on December 18 to report his wife missing.

He said an investigation led to yesterday’s search and, at 8am, the arrest of Mr Ahmadi.

Sen-Sgt Iddles said Mr Ahmadi was questioned “on and off” yesterday before he was charged.

Dressed in jeans and a striped dress shirt, he responded quietly to questions from the bail justice during last night’s hearing at the Melbourne Custody Centre.

The bail justice remanded him to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Mr Ahmadi spoke out in media interviews this week with allegations his wife had been abducted by Muslim hardliners.

He said she had been the target of extremists because she had helped people of the Islamic faith convert to Christianity.

The couple had come to Australia with their two children as Iranian refugees in 1999.

As well as searching the couple’s property, officers searched an adjacent creek.

Forensic teams were still at the house looking for evidence.

Originally published at The Australian:

Homicide detectives investigating the disappearance of Melbourne mother of two Zahara Rahimzadegan have found what they believe to be human remains buried at her Ashwood home.

Zahara’s husband Nathan Ahmadi is being questioned by police over her December 16 disappearance.

Mr Ahmadi has previously told police he had not seen or heard from his wife since 2:30pm that day, when he left her at home to go shopping, and no clue to her whereabouts.

Evangelical pastor Daniel Nalliah said earlier this week he feared the Christian convert may have been abducted by Islamic extremists.

Police used shovels and crow bars to break apart decking at the Ashwood unit before discovering the remains, which are undergoing forensic testing. State Emergency Services volunteers earlier searched a creek which runs behind the property in Melbourne’s east.

Mr Ahmadi told The Australian on Wednesday he had received no threats to Zahara’s safety before or since her disappearance. He said there had been no problems at home, despite Zahara walking out for short periods on two previous occasions.

Homicide Squad chief John Potter revealed yesterday that Zahara’s disappearance was being treated as suspicious and police had “grave concerns” for her safety. Although her mobile phone was missing, her handbag, purse, credit cards and clothes were left at home.

Detective Inspector Potter said there was no evidence to support Mr Nalliah’s claims Zahara, an Iranian refugee, may have been taken by Islamic extremists because of her conversion from Islam to Christianity five years ago.

Originally published at The Age:

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation of the disappearance of a woman who went missing from the city’s south-east almost a month ago, saying she had left home briefly before but this time was different.

Mother-of-two Zahara Rahimzadegan, who is also known as Mandy Ahmadi, was last seen at her home in High Street Road, Ashwood, at 2.30pm on December 16. She disappeared, police say, leaving behind everything except her mobile phone.

Friend Rueben Neelshan Sarvananthan said he had noticed nothing amiss when he had lunch with her and her husband the previous week. He said Ms Ahmadi, 46, who had co-founded a refugee aid agency with Dandenong’s Cornerstone Church, was passionate about helping others because when she had arrived as a refugee from Iran in 1999, there had been little support.

”She’s a good girl, very bubbly, very joyful, very helpful,” Mr Sarvananthan said.

Her husband, Nathan Ahmadi, told The Age earlier this week that he feared she had been abducted by extremists because of her attempts to convert Muslims to Christianity, as she herself had in 2004.

But homicide squad Detective Inspector John Potter yesterday said police had found no evidence to support the allegation. ”Bear in mind we don’t know what happened to her, but we’ve checked that suggestion out and we don’t believe that has happened,” he said.

Inspector Potter said Ms Ahmadi had previously left for short periods because of ”issues” at home but she had always told her sons, aged 15 and 11, where she was. ”She has missed Christmas, she has been missing now for nearly four weeks … this time it’s quite serious.”

Her bank accounts have not been accessed and her purse, including credit cards, was left at her home, police said. She has not contacted anyone since her disappearance.

Mr Ahmadi said he had dropped her off at home after a morning at the refugee centre and she was gone when he returned 45 minutes later.

Police investigated whether recent changes to her Facebook account could provide a clue, but Inspector Potter said the changes had been automatic. ”We don’t believe she was online … We are told they are normal deletions and insertions as part of her subscription.”

Originally published at SkyNews Australia:

The disappearance of a 46-year-old mother has stirred up claims of Islamic extremists targeting Christians in Melbourne, claims which have disappointed Muslims.

Police have rejected suggestions that Zahara Rahimzadegan, also known as Mandy Ahmadi, could have been taken by religious hardliners as retribution for her role in converting Muslims to Christianity.

But the accusations have continued from her support base, especially Catch the Fire Ministries.

‘I’m hoping that I’m completely wrong and that she’s found alive,’ said Pastor Danny Nalliah, who says he has been in regular contact with the missing woman for several years.

‘But in case it is a religiously motived abduction, then I’m very very concerned for her life.’

On December 16, Ms Rahimzadegan left her Ashwood home in the city’s southeast without her purse or wallet.

Her mobile phone is missing and her husband and two sons, aged 11 and 15, have not heard from her since.

The family arrived in Australia as refugees from Iran in 1999 and the couple later converted from Islam to Christianity.

Ms Rahimzadegan has since been actively involved in helping new arrivals learn English and new skills through Christian groups. She also encourages conversion to Christianity.

The day before disappeared, she was quoted in her community newspaper, talking about helping migrants learn English and new skills through Christian-based groups.

‘It’s so important to pull people out of isolation – particularly asylum seekers,’ she told the Dandenong Leader newspaper.

‘This has really helped them integrate.’

Her husband has supported claims that Islamic radicals may have targeted his wife. ‘Maybe somebody kidnapped (her),’ he told Network Ten.

On Thursday, the head of Victoria’s homicide squad made it clear he gave no weight to that theory.

‘We’ve certainly looked at that particular allegation,’ Detective Inspector John Potter told reporters. ‘We don’t believe that suggestion has any foundation.’

A spokesman for the Islamic Council of Victoria said it would be hoping and praying that Ms Rahimzadegan turned up safe and well.

‘There is also the disappointment that people are capitalising on an underlying fear, or trying to stir some level of intolerance about Muslims in the community when there is no evidence to suggest this,’ council director Nazeem Hussain told AAP.

‘It’s not in the benefit of a multicultural society.’

Police say Ms Rahimzadegan’s husband, who reported her missing 48 hours after she disappeared, is not considered a suspect.

While she has previously disappeared for a couple of days at a time, which police have linked to issues at home, she has always contacted her children.

But this time she missed Christmas, has never called and there has been no activity on her Facebook page, her phone or her bank accounts.

Originally published at 9news:

The husband and friends of an Iranian refugee missing since last month fear she has been kidnapped by Islamic extremists because of her efforts to convert Muslims to Christianity.

Melbourne woman Mandy Ahmadi disappeared from her Dandenong home on December 16, leaving behind her handbag, money and credit cards, The Age reported.

Moving to Australia in 1999, Mrs Ahmadi became a Christian five years ago, and her husband Nathan converted from Islam a year later.

Mrs Ahmadi became active in the migrant community, helping Muslims leaving detention centres through an agency she co-founded at a local church.

“It is so painful. My heart and my brain are frozen,” Mr Ahmadi was quoted as saying.

Pastor Daniel Nalliah expressed his concerns in an email sent out yesterday.

“I was able to give some very important insight as to how under Islamic Sharia law, Muslims converts are sentenced to long terms in jail, torture and in places like Iran and some other Muslim countries, they are executed,” Mr Nalliah wrote.

“If this is an abduction, then we are really fighting against time, as to whether Mandy is still alive is a very big question.”

Under a hardline interpretation of Sharia law, Muslims who leave the religion can be sentenced to death.

Mr Nalliah, who worked as a missionary in Saudi Arabia before founding the controversial Catch the Fire Ministries, successfully defended a lawsuit from the Islamic Council of Victoria after being accused of religious vilification in 2002.

Mission Statement

The goal of this project is to create a greater understanding of the plight of Muslims living under any form of Shariah law (Islamic Law) while educating those in the West of its dangers and why its increasing permeation of Western society must be halted and reversed. This will be done by concurrently reaching out directly to the Muslim world to offer encouragement and a free and open forum on the Internet (through phone-in broadcasting) where they need not fear speaking their minds and by educating those in the West of the need to alleviate the oppressive human rights conditions in Islamic countries. Evolution of this project will lead into satellite broadcasting and opinion pieces as well as the formation of strategic, synergistic alliances with like-minded organizations.

Project Rationale

Islam produces a mindset that, in turn, leads to such horrors as female genital mutilation, honor killings, cruel and unusual punishments for relatively benign criminal behavior and fatwas condoning the murder of heretics or apostates. In the Middle East, millions are trapped by its teachings, unable to leave and live in a state of submission out of fear.

This problem is only slightly acknowledged in the West even as the West itself begins to accept forms of Shariah law in an effort to appease, masquerading as tolerance.

In a two-pronged counter-attack, Wafa Sultan and Nonie Darwish will meet these threats head on. Their life experiences, their courageous struggle with and ultimate freedom from Islam will be shared with audiences in the Middle East via their Internet Broadcasting Channel. At the same time, they will embark upon a public speaking campaign designed to inform Western audiences of the nightmare that is life under Islam, a reality for millions in the Middle East but a dark warning for those in the West.

Both women have long and successful careers confronting Islam as well as its radical clerics and Western liberal apologists. While both are former Muslims, they are ardent supporters of Israel having both witnessed the truth of the Middle East first hand.
